Check out these new shots from the Ed Hardy Spring 08 campaign featuring Lil Wayne and Baby.

Are the rap stars making the right decision promoting a well-known fashion line instead of starting their own?

I think its the right decision, a lot of rappers have tried to create their own fashion lines, unfortunately only a few have been successful. Not too many athletes out there creating their own shoe brand either.

Naw. Their making the right decision, because its a check. Just because these artist got money, don’t mean they can design sh**. You can by clothes, but you can’t by clothing design creativity. I would never by Lil wayne signature line. I expect it to be wack. But, whoever is styling him, I gotta say, their doing a good job. Except, during the BET awards with that silver jacket. What was that about? It wasn’t even a bubble. Its was like a limp trench. No homo. Peace to Wayne though. He’s a dope MC. 100

Somebody got paid, i still wouldnt buy the clothes though. And they did the right thing by not starting thier own line, would you wear some birdman tees or jeans, how bout some weezy carter sneaks?

LIL WAYNE is a damn genuis. Christain Audigier picked the right person for his campaign defiantely. Ed Hardy’s designs are real tattoo designs and he ’s the “god-father of tattoo’s” newayz, so why not have the tatted up weezy collect that check..
