Beyoncé is set to star in a new thriller called Obsessed.
Filming this summer, Obsessed is the story of an asset manager (played by This Christmas‘ Idris Elba) who has a beautiful wife (Beyoncé) and a thriving career until an office temp worker (played by Heroes‘ Ali Larter) starts stalking him.
Beyoncé and her father/manager Mathew Knowles serve as the film’s executive producers.

I love Idris but wasn’t there someone else besides Beyonce? I mean there is no doubt that she has a wonderful voice but acting is not her thing. The plot sounds okay but I’m afraid that alot of ppl are gonna feel the same way about Beyonce playing a leading role. Also, u know folks gonna be like “well her daddy producing the movie so of course” Which is pretty much true. Oh well…

Quit hating on Beyonce. She lights up the big screen. She got that look that just make you stare because she’s so beautiful and gifted. I look forward to more movies and music with her in it.

I really think that Beyonce need to give it a break and let other stars take the leading roles like jennifer hudson or something. Also you might be gifted but it is other people that need their time to shine to.

she’s a beautiful singer and has a wonderful voice. yeah, but when acting she looks fake and her voice is always so soft. i wish she could show her mood more often… like,, she could change her intonations sometimes.

I honestly think people are seriously hating.Its called jealousy at first and then eventually it turns to hate.She is a beautiful woman no doubt ,but she is a very talented woman ,and I think she works very hard.People that have any thing negative to say,would not say that if she was not a stand out gorgeous woman if she was just ordinary there would not be so much negative feed back towards her. And for the record would do u call it,if u have nothing good to say about a person who is doing there thing ,and about business and looks good while doing it. Well i call that hate.

well i think ms B. is a marvelous and wonderful singer. she’s my favorite singer and entertainer in the whole world right now. but i have to agree with Shayna. she really needs some acting lessons. i mean don’t get it twisted, B can tare a stage up and she’ll outshine any dancer but the girl can’t act. i still would like to see her in more movies, but only if she acts a lot better.

To all you haters always talking negatively about Beyonce and whomever else you hate on, If you don’t like something someone is doing or how there doing it then you need to contribute.
Since she so called can’t act all that well, to those people that have nothing good to say and want to point out her so-called “shortcomings”, why don’t you up the money to get her some acting lessons then! Until then shut up!
It’s one thing to give constructive criticism, but it’s another to just be negative.
Get ya weight up and not your hate up! Regardless she is still gone make her money whether she can act or not! What are you haters making? What do you do?

Beyonce is sooooo talented in singing and in acting. In Austin powers she was in a leading role and did great, she was also great in dream girls, so I have no idea what all the negativity is about.
Have any of you tried to win over a lead role, considering she got this gig cause of dad she has worked hard for her fans and has come a LONG way since Destiny’s Child and deserves alot better than all of you that’s for sure.
I welcome seeing her as much as I can. I love hearing about her stories. SHE IS SO REAL ALL THE TIME ON STAGE, ON FILM, IN INTERVIEWS, ON BOOK SIGNINGS, ARE YOU? AFRAID NOT IF YOUR IN HERE HATIN AND HIDIN BEHIND A KEYBOARD…
Until you accomplish just half, shoot even a quarter of what Beyonce and her family have accomplished in such a short time I suggest you stop reading about her if you are a hater or don’t like her acting.
